As an applicant, you will be
evaluated on the basis of:
1. Your academic records
2. The assessment of your references
3. The extent and quality of involvement in Christian
service
4. Your apparent gifts and potential for placement
into Christian ministry.
The qualifying degree for a master's level program
is a baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent,
conferred by an accredited college or university.
Exceptions to this requirement are limited.
Dallas Seminary enrolls men and women who:
5. Show evidence of saving faith in Christ
6. Are of proven Christian character
7. Are endowed with appropriate spiritual gifts
8. Adhere to the following doctrines:
9. the authority and inerrancy of Scripture
10. the Trinity
11. Christ's full deity and humanity
12. the spiritual lostness of the human race
13. Christ's substitutionary atonement and bodily
resurrection
14. salvation by faith alone in Christ alone
15. the physical return of Christ.
All degree programs are coeducational. The Seminary
holds the position that Scripture limits to men
the roles of elder and senior pastor in the local
church. Therefore, the Pastoral Leadership concentration
of the Pastoral Ministries track is only open
to male Th.M. students.
While students must adhere to the seven doctrines
listed above to be admitted and graduate, each
member of the faculty affirms his or her full
agreement with the entire doctrinal statement.
