우선, 너무 많은 학교를 열거시킬수는 없으니, 서너군데를 알려드리면, Bergen Comm. College(NJ), Long Beach City College(CA), Middlesex Comm. College(MA) 그리고 American Academy of Dramatic Arts(NY/Hollywood) 등이 있습니다.
학비에 대한 내용은 적게는 연 $3,500.00 에서 15,000.00 정도 가량 됩니다. 오히려, 여러가지 조건에 맟추어 학교를 선정하시는 것이 좋습니다.
마지막으로, 오디션에 대한 것은 학교에 따라서는 오디션 자체가 없는 경우도 있으며, 아래와 같이 많은 것을 요구할 수도 있습니다.
• The audition consists of a personal interview and the presentation of two memorized monologues from published plays, one from a comedy and one from a drama (classical or contemporary).
• The total time for both selections must not exceed five minutes. Auditioners may be asked to perform a cold reading. Applicants should bring two passport size photos (2" x 2") to the audition with their name printed on the reverse side.
Auditions are conducted weekly at the New York and Hollywood campuses.
Regional auditions, in numerous U.S. and international cities, can be arranged.
All applicants are required to audition. Applicants may choose from the following options:
1. On Campus Audition: Audition appointments are scheduled on a weekly basis at both the New York and Hollywood schools. An appointment will be scheduled only after all required materials have been received. The Academy strongly encourages applicants to audition at the campus they plan to attend if possible.
2. Touring Auditions: Applicants unable to travel to New York or Hollywood may arrange for an audition conducted by Academy administrators who travel annually to some major cities in the United States, Canada and Europe. Touring auditions must be scheduled and approved by the Admissions Office and will only be considered after all appropriate documents have been received. (Exceptions may be made.)
3. Regional Auditions: Applicants unable to travel to New York or Hollywood may arrange for an audition conducted by Academy associates in some major cities throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
