1924 년에 설립되었고 "하나님의 말씀의 선포와 그리스도 전세계의 몸 건물 최대 경건한 서번트 리더를 장착하여 하나님을 영화롭게 하겠다."라는 목표를 두고 운영하고 있다. DTS는 신학교로서의 경험을 바탕으로 영적 변화의 과정임을 인정하고 그 여행의 중심에 삼위 일체 하나님과 그분의 말씀이 있다는 것을 알게 한다.
