Duke 대학에서 처음 설립된 대학원 과정으로 1926 년에 설립 된 신학교는 전국과 전세계에서 온 학생들이 공부하고 있다. 감리교 연합의 지원을 받는 13개 신학교 중 하나로 많은 다양한 신학 적 관점을 통해 학생들은 현대적인 맥락에서 신앙의 문제를 해결하기 위해 성경의 침수와 교회의 전통을 통해 공통점을 찾아 학문을 연구하고 있다. 550여명의 학생들 중 13%가 침례교이고 나머지 학생들은 다른 종파이다.

Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree
--A three-year, professional degree preparing women and men for ordained leadership in the church. Options in additions to the basic M.Div. include a concentration in Christian education, a certificate in Baptist studies, and certificate in Anglican studies.

Master in Church Ministries (M.C.M.) degree
--A two-year, professional degree preparing men and women for nursing ministries (parish nursing).

Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) degree
--A two-year, academic degree primarily focused on preparing women and men for the teaching ministry of the church.

Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree
--A one-year, advanced-level degree that builds upon work already completed in one of the basic theological degrees.
