러하이 대학은 펜실베이니아주 Bethlehem에 위치한 사립대학이다.
설립자인 Asa Packer는 남북전쟁이 끝난 뒤 지역을 번영시키는 데 필요한 기술 교육과
함께 교양 및 과학을 포함한 균형잡힌 교육을 제공한다는 목표를 가지고 1865년에 대학을
설립했다. 대학에는 학부생 약 4,600명, 대학원생 약 2,000명이 재학중이다.
대학은 P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, College of Arts
and Sciences, College of Business and Economics와 College of Education의
4개 단과대학으로 구성되어 있다.

대학의 중앙 도서관은 E. W. Fairchild-Martindale 도서관으로 장서 120만 권, 정기간행물 6,271종 및 시청각자료 8,415종을 보유하고 있다. 대학의 기숙시설은 친목클럽(fraternity) 단위로 기숙생활을 하는 fraternity house와 일반 기숙사가 있다. |
