- Competence in New Testament studies
- Competence in basic Systematic Theology
- Competence in basic Historical Theology
- Competence in Theological German (prior to matriculation, preferably before applying)
- Competency in advanced level of Greek and Hebrew (Historical Theology students may exchange Latin
  for Hebrew.)
